shelf ware

Oh wow, there is a plague of shelf ware. For example, some science teachers have lotsa books but read none. Ahem, this practice use to be a waste of paper years ago. Sadly, everything seems to be going digital now. Basically, these digital books are gathering digital dust while sitting on some server. Probably, this tome is deep inside an enormous underground building tucked away in some far distant corner.
