Hey, old castles are in real life not as pretty as those in movies. Still, as architectural constructs, they are imposing. Do think of all the taxes that poor peasants must pay. It is great to be a king or a queen. However, it has never been great to be poor - now or ever.

2017

2017 has been a terrible year. Retail bankruptcies are way up. There are more stores closing now, than in 2008 which was the time of the great recession. Folks, I do not believe we did exit our major depression and it appears to be getting even worse. Well, that is how it appears. Please do not blame online retailers at they are less than 9% of total sales - yes nine.

I like to shoot photographs that are macro. Worlds that are tiny have a lot to offer us. Yet, they do seem alien in a way.

Angela Merkel says Germany cannot trust US or UK anymore. Well, Russia tried to be friends with Germany during WWII and we see... that idea was poor. In fact, Germany was knocking on the gates of Moscow soon. Certainly, not the best move. Let us study history and open our eyes. Please do not see what you wanna see.

Bus

The bus is the way forward for us. It helps us save on gas. After all, we need to conserve our energy. Get rid of all those cars. The SUV is a dinosaur and so is a crossover. Yet, we do not have enough buses for our poor. Let us work to make people use less fuel and walk more.

Chess is a great game. People have been playing it thousands of years. Frankly, it teaches basic battle strategy to our young.

Marsh Supermarkets may close all stores soon. They are looking for a buyer and have 60 days to do so. Friends, things keep on going max worse. It is an economic crisis. Customers are cutting back on groceries. Sadly, we predict that our global economy is in collapse mode or near so.
