home prices rise

Right now home prices rise. This should be expected as people need a place to live in. However, we need to find a new way. Like they are just too expensive. Well, that is what we see. Do wish that this was not our case.

hummingbird

I like hummingbirds, but they can really move. Often, a blur is all we see. Do hope there are more. BTW, a hummingbird weighs less than one penny.

prime day

Today is our prime day my fine ones. Retail is getting knocked out via amazon. Expect things to change even more.

compromise

Ah yes, we cannot say compromise anymore. It has turned into a dirty word for us. Here is a question for you. OK, so can america delight in compromise once more? Well, that is a tall order as we say. Maybe, the answer is no. People only talk about winning now. Frankly, I still remember being told that we had to share a pizza. It was not great to eat every piece.

Employees

Employees are sleeping less and working more. This is a problem that is all over. Cities are hard hit due to long commutes from workers as jobs are few and bills are many.

$15 dollar minimum wage

$15 minimum wage is necessary. Most new jobs being created are in services. Typically, these positions are low pay. All those wonderful manufacturing jobs are gone. Yeah, they were sent overseas years ago. Sadly, the result is empty malls as people have no money. Look at all the abandoned warehouses and factories that are boarded up. Friends, unless we take action, that is the future for us.

average wage

Adjusted for cost of living, I looked at each state's average wage. The highest was Alaska, and lowest was Florida - because Alaska is cold and Florida is warm. Let us have some words to mince. OK, so I remember a doctor in Florida was making $100,000 per year. She was offered half a million per year to move to Alaska for six years. Here answer was - no way. She could have saved her money. Then be able to move into a mansion.
